The path to full decentralization

We’ve always seen EarthFund as a completely decentralized, autonomous organization run by a global community.

However, to set it up for success, the team will retain control of the platform development for the first 2 years as well as setting up strategic partnerships with projects, DAOs and other organizations that will help EarthFund grow in the long term.

(We’ll also be fully building out all the functionality, infrastructure and organization it needs to succeed.)

However, all causes will be completely autonomous and all 1Earth holders can stake their tokens for a vote1Earth to vote on which causes get added to the platform.

The 1Earth community will also be able to request features, suggest improvements and use the EarthFund code to create their own projects.
